The UCSC Farm and Alan Chadwick Garden, managed by the Center for Agroecology, are open to the public daily from 8am to 6pm.

Parking is available in the Hay Barn parking lot on Ranch View Road and in the Carriage House/Campus Facilities parking lot (lots 115/116).
Alan Chadwick Garden
Parking is available in the Merrill College parking lot, located above the garden. To reach the garden, walk down Merrill Road and turn left at the access road lined with compost piles. Proceed along the road to a gate that will lead into the garden.
Parking fees
Most UC Santa Cruz parking spaces require a parking permit before 5pm on weekdays. Permits can be purchased at the information kiosk just past the campus’s main entrance at the corner of Bay and High Streets. There are also pay-per-hour and per-day parking spaces available in some lots. Visit the Transportation and Parking Services website to learn more about parking permits and fees.
